The Cockleshell Endeavour Team are embarking on this epic adventure to raise awareness of PTSD and its effects on former service personnel. To ensure all money received in sponsorship goes to the people who need it the most, Mick Dawson and Steve Grenhan have decided to donate all money raised through the endeavour to a charity close to both of their hearts – The Royal Marine Charity
The Royal Marine Charity is the overarching Royal Marines charity and money raised is used for a number of purposes. The charity works to provide a better quality of life to serving and retired Royal Marines and their families. The Royal Marine Charity is a proud part of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and works closely with The C Group, inspiring business to support Royal Marines in need.
The Royal Marine Charity is run for Royal Marines family – regulars, reserves cadets and families. It is governed by a group of serving, retired and civilian Trustees who have a very wide view of need and a determination to ensure that any money donated is used to best effect.
