We are very pleased to announce that Maurice Stevens, a leading Brighton based artist, has donated a portrait of the Cockleshell Endeavour team – Mick Dawson and Steve Grenham – to help raise the funds needed to complete the circumnavigation of the Falkland Islands in 2016 and continue to raise awareness of PTDS.
Maurice has been a supporter of the Cockleshell Endeavour since it was launched almost a year ago and has kindly donated the original painting to be auctioned for much needed funds, as well as giving us permission to produce some prints of the painting to be sold. All money raised through the auction and through sales of the prints will be used to buy essential kit for the 650 mile circumnavigation of the Falkland Islands in kayaks.
To bid for the original painting of the Cockleshell Endeavour team please visit www.jumblebee.co.uk/cockleshellendeavour. The acrylic painting measures 16 inches by 20 inches and comes framed, meaning it is approximately 18″ x 22″.
Prints of the painting are available to purchase directly from the Cockleshell Endeavour website via paypal for £50 each. Prints are approximately 40cm x 60cm (A2 sized). To buy one of the prints please click on the “Buy Now” link below and follow the instructions.
